MySQL Workspace

Manage MySQL connections, browse database objects and run SQL queries.

Connections and workspace

Save named MySQL connection profiles and switch the active connection. Keep server, port and user details together instead of re-entering them for every session.

SQL and results

Use the SQL editor to write and run queries, browse database objects and inspect the returned result grid and execution messages. Copy result cells when you need values elsewhere.

Getting started

  1. Open MySQL Workspace in Quick and create a connection profile with the server details supplied by your database administrator.
  2. Switch to the connection and provide the required credentials. Browse the objects available to your account.
  3. Write a SQL statement, choose Run query and review the result grid or messages. Disconnect when finished.

Requirements and notes

A reachable MySQL server and valid credentials are required. Queries run against the connected database with that account’s permissions; review statements that modify data. Screenshots show an isolated demo connection and synthetic results.

Screenshots use English or Chinese, a light appearance and demo data without personal information.
