Quit Guard

Prevent accidental Command-Q exits with a hold-to-quit delay and app rules.

Make quitting deliberate

Configure the host’s quit protection so a brief quit-key press does not immediately close a protected application. Adjust the hold duration and application rules in the settings page.

Getting started

1. Open Quit Guard settings from Quick.
2. Check the platform and accessibility status shown by Quick, then enable protection and set a suitable hold duration.
3. Configure the applications to include or exclude, save the settings and test with a nonessential application.

Requirements and notes

Quit protection is implemented by the Quick host and depends on platform support and required accessibility permission. It does not replace saving your work or protect against crashes and forced termination.
